Karla Moran

Karla Moran
Economic Development

Karla Moran is a Principal Economic Development Analyst for the Salt River Project. She is responsible for attracting and expanding business and industry within SRP’s service territory; providing site-specific electrical infrastructure identification and cost analysis; and working collaboratively alongside state, regional and municipal partners to identify targeted company attraction, expansion and retention efforts conducive to building a healthy economy to advance well-planned growth throughout the Valley.

Moran has been in economic development for more than 15 years, including roles at the Arizona Department of Commerce, the Arizona Commerce Authority and the Town of Gilbert. She earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Arizona State University and is also pursuing a Certified Economic Developer designation with the International Economic Development Council as well as Arizona Economic Development Professional certification. Moran serves on the boards of CoreNet Global (Arizona chapter), Arizona Association for Economic Development and the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council and is a GPEC-Certified Ambassador.

Marc Valenzuela

Marc Valenzuela
Economic Development

Marc Valenzuela is a Senior Project Manager with Salt River Project's Economic Development team. In this capacity, Marc works with communities and regional partners to attract and expand businesses within SRP's service territory. He has more than seven years of economic development experience, serving at both the City of Mesa and Arizona State University. Marc has led business retention and expansion activities, entrepreneurial initiatives, business attraction efforts, and a variety of special projects.

Marc is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Master of Public Administration degree and a bachelor's in public service and public policy. He is an active member of the Arizona Association of Economic Development and is designated as an Arizona Economic Development Professional. Marc is also working toward earning his Certified Economic Developer credential through the International Economic Development Council.

Natalia Cuneo

Natalia Cuneo
Economic Development

Natalia Cuneo is an Economic Development Coordinator with Salt River Project's Economic Development team. In this capacity, Natalia works with the state, regional and municipal partners to contribute growing SRP’s business base. Natalia has more than seven years of economic development experience, and prior to joining SRP she worked for the City of Mesa and the Maricopa Association of Governments.

Natalia has a Master of Public Policy degree from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of CEMA in Buenos Aires. She is a member of the Arizona Association of Economic Development and is also working toward earning her Certified Economic Developer credential through the International Economic Development Council.
